We are a plumbing contractor working across 25 districts of Abuja, from Maitama and Asokoro to Gwarinpa, Lugbe and Kubwa, and we built this business around a single complaint we kept hearing from homeowners here.

It was almost never about price. It was about a price that changed after the work started.

That happens for a structural reason, not because tradesmen are dishonest. If you quote before you have diagnosed, you are guessing; and when the guess turns out to be wrong, the difference has to go somewhere. Our whole process exists to remove that: we isolate and test first, we quote second, and if what we find behind the wall changes the job, we stop and re-quote rather than adding it to the final invoice.

What we actually do

Domestic and commercial plumbing across four systems, because in Abuja they are inseparable:

• Supply and storage, borehole, rising main, tanks, float and level controls
• Pressurisation, pumps, pressure vessels, switches, boosters and their protection
• Distribution, hot and cold pipework, valves, water heaters, sanitaryware
• Disposal, waste, traps, ventilation, chambers and soakaways

The second one is what distinguishes plumbing here from plumbing in a market with reliable mains pressure. Most misdiagnosis in Abuja happens at the boundary between supply and distribution, a pressure problem treated as a pipework problem, or the reverse. Covering both is not a convenience, it is the only way to get the diagnosis right.

What we commit to

These are standards we hold ourselves to on every job rather than claims about the past. If we miss the response target, we will tell you on the phone when you call rather than after you have waited.

How we price

1. Diagnosis before price. Isolate, test, identify. No quote until we know what the job is.
2. One fixed price, in writing. Labour, materials by specification, and making good.
3. Variations are a conversation. If it changes behind the wall, we stop, show you, and re-quote.
4. Tested before we leave. Pressure-tested and run under load, in front of you.
5. Guarantee in writing. 12 months on workmanship, stated on your invoice.

What we will tell you that others might not

• When you do not need us. A hair-blocked shower trap and a dry trap in a guest bathroom are not plumber jobs. We will say so.
• When it is the developer’s problem. If your property is within its defects liability period, we will document the fault so you can pursue it rather than pay for it.
• When the cheaper option is right. A pressure vessel recharge instead of a new pump. A valve instead of a new suite. We would rather be called again than be called once.
• When we are not the right trade. On jobs that are primarily electrical, a qualified electrician should lead. We work alongside them.
